Welcome to the on-line home of Rumbalara Aboriginal Co-Operative Ltd. Rumbalara started on the river flats between Shepparton & Mooroopna in the 1940's.

In 1957, Rumbalara's site was selected and on April 11th 1958, the housing project was officially opened and named 'Rumbalara' (meaning rainbow).

Approximately 300 people live in the river flats.
